Penmac Staffing is currently hiring for an Industrial Machine Shop TIG Welder to fill an opening with Metal Fabrication facility company located in Fort Smith, AR .
The ideal candidates should be a highly skilled technician to work out of our machine / welding shop. Stable work history that demonstrates reliability.
Must be willing to explain any and all gaps in employment history.

Requirements of the TIG Welder :
- The position will require considered candidates to complete a skills test onsite with our client.
- Must be an experienced TIG welder using stainless steel, for an established metal fabrication shop in the Fort Smith area.
- The position may require some traveling, depending on work needs and client needs.
- Must have good attendance and be able to work in a shop environment that is not temperature controlled.
Benefits of the TIG Welder :
- Starting pay $16.00 / hr Pay will increase based upon work performance and experience
- 1st shift
- Full-time - Overtime as required!

Responsibilities of the TIG Welder :
- Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
- Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
- Work with the facility manager to continually update the production process and system software.
- Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
- Safely operate power tools, hoists, and hand tools.
